Victory Is Not An Option: Maurizio Cattelan at Blenheim Palace documents the Italian artist’s most significant solo exhibition in the UK in twenty years, featuring some of Cattelan’s most iconic works alongside new pieces installed throughout the interiors and formal garden of Blenheim Palace. The catalogue also addresses the theft of America (2016), Cattelan’s solid gold toilet, which was stolen from the exhibition shortly after the opening.
The catalogue includes exclusive installation photography, an interview of Maurizio Cattelan by Blenheim Art Foundation director Michael Frahm, and a catalogue essay by Paolo Fabbri.
