SOFTER: Jenny Holzer at Blenheim Palace documents the major exhibition of one of America’s most beloved living artists at Blenheim Palace (28 September – 31 December 2017). Using technology, stonework, light projections, a virtual reality mobile app and LED installations, Holzer engaged with Blenheim Palace’s military history in a show that offered heart-wrenching descriptions of life during wartime, recounting real experiences of soldiers and civilians.
The catalogue includes exclusive installation photography, writing by Iwona Blazwick, Jonathan Chippindale, Martin Kemp, Nick Morgan, Caroline Roux and Brigadier James Stopford CBE, as well as Lord Edward Spencer-Churchill.
