Peter Wüthrich is a Swiss artist (Bern, 1962) who, thanks to his many exhibitions at the Galleria Christian Stein, has become very familiar with the city of Milan. He is well known for the installations – some of them monumental – that he creates with books: these are, for the artist, objects of aesthetic reflection and, quite literally, the physical components of his work. Books are the tools with which he creates his art (videos, photography, sculpture, installations), and which invariably continue being the visible protagonists even when taking on unexpected identities stimulated by the artist’s highly vivid and playful imagination.
