Beuys had a special relationship with Italy; he was often there and exhibited in Naples, Rome and at the Venice Biennale, among others. Since the early 1970s, he has created numerous projects and works that can be associated with Italy.

The presentation includes some early Italian newspapers, including Adriatic Wine Market (1946/47) and Monte Gargano (1957), but also photographs, posters and objects from the 1970s and 1980s.
