From tomorrow, April 1st, the LAM is radically changing course. The theme of the collection, food and consumption, is being sharpened to reflect the developments of our time.

Museum Director Sietske van Zanten: ‘The LAM is a contemporary museum but above all a museum of the public. In the three years that we have been open, the food sector has developed at a phenomenal rate. The needs of consumers and therefore our visitors have changed. Meat is the new fly, oats are the new foam on your cappuccino. We cannot and do not want to stay behind.
