Lafayette Anticipations – Fondation d’entreprise Galeries Lafayette: Administrative and Logistics Assistant Internship

Lafayette Anticipations is a general interest foundation structured around its production activities and support provided to contemporary creation. The Fondation acts as a catalyser, providing artists unique, made-to-measure conditions in which to produce, experiment and exhibit. 

Position description
In collaboration with the Administrative Director and the Administrative Officer, you will be responsible for the administrative and logistical support of the Foundation. You will support the team in the general good management of the offices and the building:

Administrative assistant
Assistance with the administrative management of the Galeries Lafayette Corporate Foundation
Assistance in monitoring legal, formalist and tax activities
Assistance with budget and invoice monitoring and financial reporting
Assistance with paper and digital archiving of administrative data
Activity reports, note taking, memos and meeting minutes
Legal monitoring, studies, benchmarking on the functioning of cultural organisations and the issues related to contemporary creation

Logistical and event assistance
Assistance in the coordination of events and privatisations (budgets, planning, contracts, follow-up, etc.)
Relationship with public event speakers and providers
Logistical support before and during events
Updating and archiving of technical files

Description of the profile required
Student in a position to obtain an internship agreement
Training: Contemporary art / Cultural management / Management
Good level of English
Interest in contemporary creation
Ability to work in a team, good organizational skills, energetic, good interpersonal skills, availability
Good writing skills, analytical and synthesis skills
Independant and able to work on several projects at the same time

Description of the experience sought
Previous experience in a cultural institution and/or administrative department

Date of commencement of employment
Early January 2020
