Judd Foundation : Program Fellow
Judd Foundation is hiring a recent college graduate for a Fall 2018 Program Fellowship. Working at the Foundation offices at 101 Spring Street, the Fellow will have the opportunity to learn and develop new skillsets by assisting with a variety of programs for Judd Foundation and will have the opportunity to gain knowledge on both Donald Judd and his philosophies, and the history of 20th century art. Experiences will include:
Assisting with our public guided visits. The fellow will help coordinate and escort guided public visits of 101 Spring Street while working directly with the public & gaining a great understanding of Judd Foundation’s unique visitor experience and Donald Judd’s vision as represented in the permanently installed collection.
Lean and do research for upcoming public programs and ground floor installations at 101 Spring Street.
Additional administrative tasks and projects may be assigned based on Judd Foundation needs and intern aptitude.
Familiarity with programs such as Mac OS X and Microsoft Office Suite is preferable. The candidate should preferably have an interest in art history and the work of Donald Judd in particular.
Start date: October/November 2018
Duration: 6 months
Payment: a weekly $100 stipend
A minimum commitment of 4 days per week is required.
