It is developing nine major programmes that combine know-how, creation and transmission. New Settings and Artists in the Cité pour les arts de la scène, exhibitions and artist residencies for visual artists, Immersion, a Franco-American photographic commission for photography, Manufacto, the making of craft and the Craft Academy for the discovery and development of craft trades. Through H3 – Heart, Head, Head, Hand it also supports organizations on all five continents that act in this same way. Finally, its commitment to the planet is supported by its Biodiversity & Ecosystems program. Founded in 2008, the Hermès Corporate Foundation is headed by Catherine Tsekenis, under the presidency of Olivier Fournier, who succeeded Pierre-Alexis Dumas in 2016.

The Foundation is looking for a 4-month internship, with a full-time contract. The internship will start in March and will be based in Paris.

Main activities
The trainee, under the responsibility of the project manager, will have daily operational tasks as part of the various support measures and the two programmes of the Hermès Corporate Foundation relating to the performing arts: New Settings (broadcasting of the shows supported by edition #9 and receipt of applications for the call for projects in the new edition) and Artistes dans la Cité (new programme of the Foundation relating to transmission issues in the performing arts).
More specifically, its missions will be related to:
o The preparation of contracts with partner institutions and companies.
o The link with companies: additional information, communication element,…
o Assistance in the organisation of events for employees and related to the projects and shows supported.
o Assistance in processing applications for the New Settings call for projects.
o Assistance in the organization of the artistic committee of New Settings.
o The processing of applications for sponsorship related to the performing arts.
o The handling of administrative aspects related to partnerships.

Applicant profile
Master’s level student in IEP, business school, university (masters specialized in cultural management, performing arts, art history), the candidate must have:
– a strong interest in the cultural field, particularly in the performing arts.
– An interest and knowledge in corporate philanthropy.
– Legal and administrative concepts.
– Fluency in English and Office tools: Word, Excel, Powerpoint.
– Qualities required: rigour, responsiveness, flexibility and enthusiasm.
