The Hermès Corporate Foundation supports those who learn, master, transmit and explore creative gestures to build today’s world and invent tomorrow’s.
It is developing nine major programmes that combine know-how, creation and transmission. New Settings and Artists in the Cité pour les arts de la scène, exhibitions and artist residencies for visual artists, Immersion, a Franco-American photographic commission for photography, Manufacto, the making of craft and the Craft Academy for the discovery and development of craft trades. Through H3 – Heart, Head, Head, Hand it also supports organizations on all five continents that act in this same way. Finally, its commitment to the planet is supported by its Biodiversity & Ecosystems program. Founded in 2008, the Hermès Corporate Foundation is headed by Catherine Tsekenis, under the presidency of Olivier Fournier, who succeeded Pierre-Alexis Dumas in 2016.

The Foundation is looking for an intern for its Visual Arts and Crafts department for 5 to 6 months, full-time and contractually agreed. Internship to be filled from January and based in Paris.
The trainee, under the responsibility of the project manager, will assist him/her on a daily basis on operational missions depending on the activity and needs, around several areas:
– Assistance in the operational implementation of the Academy of Know-how program;
– Assistance in the coordination and organization of the artist residency program in Hermès factories;
– Preparation of artist contracts for exhibition spaces;
– Assistance in the organization of events for employees;
– Assistance in monitoring counterparties with partner institutions;
– Processing of sponsorship applications related to the visual arts and design
Master 2 level, business school student, IEP, university (history, art history, master’s degree in cultural management).
With a strong interest in the cultural field, particularly crafts, plastic arts and design. Proof of at least successful professional experience in this field.
Possessing an interest and knowledge in corporate philanthropy.
Legal concepts would be a plus.
Having already some knowledge, through a first experience/internship, of the company’s universe and its operations.
Fluency in English and Office tools: Word, Excel, Powerpoint.
Qualities required: rigour, responsiveness, multidisciplinary approach, autonomy, flexibility and enthusiasm.
