Fondation Giacometti: Event Assistant Internship
The Giacometti Institute, the Giacometti Foundation’s exhibition space, opened in June 2018 in the Montparnasse district.
It is dedicated to exhibition, research and mediation, and combines the permanent presentation of the Giacometti workshop with a rich programme of exhibitions and events. It now has a specific space dedicated to pedagogy and research, the Giacometti Lab.
Under the authority of the Artistic Director and the Head of Administrative and Operational Affairs, you will assist the Giacometti Institute team in the programming and coordination of cultural events as well as the implementation of educational activities proposed as part of the exhibitions at the Giacometti Institute.
– Event and Pedagogy: prepare communication and distribution documents (press kits, flyers, posters, etc.) Ensure the smooth running of the event on site. Greet guests. Participate in the daily activities of the structure and assist in the implementation of the artistic and cultural project at the Giacometti Institute.
– Administration: participate in the development of the customer portfolio and its loyalty. Realization of information supports, sending. Setting up a calendar, looking for a service provider. Coordination and follow-up of projects with the Institute team and service providers. Ensure accounting follow-up.
– Space management: participate in the implementation during the various events and ensure that the spaces are well maintained. Maintain an inventory of product stocks (books, brochures, derivatives). Purchase equipment in conjunction with the Public and Mediation Officer.

Student in Cultural Production, Cultural Management, Project Management – Level Bac+3
Knowledge Art History
Taste for modern art, collection management
Good knowledge of IT tools
Organizational capacity, autonomy, initiative, rigour, physical aptitude (occasional movement of equipment during events)
