Centre Cultural Casa Planas : Open Call for Art Residency Program

ART INVESTIGATION PROGRAMME Programme for Artistic Residencies.

Casa Planas in conjunction with the Goethe Institute is pleased offer a range of open research residencies to contemporary creators. The aim is to develop and produce an innovative project that reflects upon and sheds light on cultural relations within the Planas Archive and aspects of German culture.

The Casa Planas Creation Centre archive is promoting a programme of research residencies for creators and thinkers around art. Mediation projects that have a direct social link to our field of work and our neighborhood will be given special consideration, as well as projects that are related to the theme of archives, postcards, landscape, tourism and memory, with the aim of breathing life back into the Planas Archive and preventing it from becoming lost in the mists of time. We also have a special interest in audiovisual disciplines, performance and transdisciplinary proposals. Through this programme we plan to develop shared work spaces, research processes, round table, knowledge sharing and workshops and meetings between artists, curators, collectives and professionals of this sector.

The objective is to carry out national and international projects, bringing international work closer to local artists, creating a space for reflection and research from a local perspective on the cultural flow and international influence on the islands.

A total of 4 scholarships will be given, one for each modality.
