The Louis Vuitton Foundation in Paris is committed to making art and culture accessible to all. In order to promote current artistic creation at the national and international level, it relies on its collection, commissions from artists, temporary exhibitions of modern and contemporary art as well as multidisciplinary events.

In order to perpetuate and control the influence of the Louis Vuitton Foundation, we are looking for our:
Production and Coordination Manager

 

Position description

Reporting directly to the Director of Cultural Production, you will work to set up the technical, human and intellectual resources necessary for the smooth running of all Louis Vuitton Foundation projects.

– You will work on exhibitions in interface with the Artistic Direction, the Foundation’s teams and the production service providers for the preparation and coordination of projects (calendars, retroplannings, operational organisation, administrative and budgetary follow-up, summary files).
– You will be responsible for the musical programming and events, coordinating the hosting of concerts, conferences and performances: links with the programmer, the Artistic Director and the technical teams for planning management, hosting artists and speakers, technical implementation, management of piano and chord rentals, etc.
– You will actively contribute to the operation of the service (preparation of documents summarising activities, ordering equipment and associated budgets, monitoring inventories and fixed assets, catering management, etc.).
– You will ensure good overall coordination with the other departments: organization of weekly meetings, drafting of production documents presenting each event or operation, follow-up of interventions organized by the other departments

Depending on the project, you may be required to manage all production operations related to the implementation of events.

 

Description of the profile required

Graduate of higher education (Master 2, Sciences PO,…), you have a first successful experience within a cultural institution or a structure producing events related to contemporary art or music.
You speak fluent English and enjoy working in project mode.
