Louisiana Museum of Modern Art : IT Supporter
Do you get the energy by helping colleagues solve their IT problems quickly and skillfully? Do you combine your good technical understanding with a calm demeanor, and are you good at conveying your specialist knowledge to colleagues who do not have the same professional insight as you? If you see yourself even as a bit of an IT Swiss knife – yes, it may well be you that we are looking for at Louisiana IT.
At Louisiana IT we work as a single-point-of-contact, and the tasks are therefore very varied both in nature and in complexity, and our working day in the team is never boring or trivial. There is plenty of drive in the team, speed in the tasks and lots of challenges and opportunities for development. We strive for high quality and professionalism in our work, while we value good collegial cooperation with a good energy. We take all the common part in the academic challenges, so we ensure that Louisiana is always at the forefront of the use of IT.
Your primary tasks and responsibilities
You will refer to the IT manager and you will spend the most time on:
Continuous support of colleagues with many and widely differing tasks
Troubleshooting hardware and software both on smartphones, PC and Mac
Installing PCs, printers, phones, etc.
Easier server administration
Responsibility for print and copy
Together with your colleagues in the support team, you are part of a watch scheme that ensures that your colleagues have a competent IT lifeline during the museum’s opening hours.
IT and AV are increasingly occupying our many changing exhibitions. It is both fun and demanding – and of course you will be part of that.
We imagine you
You have a relevant IT education such as. IT-Supporter or computer scientist and some years of experience from a similar job. You are accustomed to communicating with non-technical colleagues and you easily familiarize yourself with new tasks so that they are categorized and resolved most appropriately. You automatically take a high degree of independent responsibility for your tasks, and you are of course helpful and service minded.
We have great expectations for you
You get things done, are proud when you deliver a good job and your boss knows that the vast majority of IT support tasks are in good hands with you. You are happy when you can help with the ad hoc tasks that naturally arise in a dynamic organization and your colleagues believe you are the one they can count on.
You are committed and energetic and appreciate working with many different people across the organization.
You become part of a skilled team that handles everything from IT to AV. We are a fast-paced environment and it is rare that two days are similar – so it is crucial that you get energy in an environment where we usually wear running shoes in what we do. Our everyday life is characterized by good cohesion, respect for each other’s competencies and a great desire to achieve our goals.
If you think that it fits you well and that it is exactly in such an environment that you enjoy, we will be happy to hear from you.
