Fonds Hélène & Édouard Leclerc pour la Culture : Cultural Mediators

The Hélène & Édouard Leclerc Fund for Culture recruits, within the framework of fixed-term contracts, several cultural mediators. Several positions to be filled as of Tuesday, June 18, 2019.

Missions :
As part of the “Cabinets de curiosités” exhibition, presented at FHEL from 23 June 2019 to 03 November 2019, and within a team of around ten people, the mediator will carry out the following missions:
> Direct mediation for the exhibition: welcoming visitors, attentive and mobile presence in the exhibition spaces, responses to specific requests
> Surveillance of exhibition spaces
> Preparation and support of daily and group visits
> Participation in the daily running of FHEL and the cultural mediation service

Description of the profile we are looking for:
> Good general knowledge, knowledge of history and art history (especially modern and contemporary art)
> Interest in cultural mediation and a taste for contact with the public
> Ability to adapt to different types of audiences
> Practice of English and/or Breton appreciated

Conditions of the position:

Hourly volume: Full-time 35 hours per week

Type of contract: Fixed-term contract

Availability on weekends and some evenings.

Compensation: minimum wage
