Fondation Le Corbusier : Culture and Communication Mediation Officer Internship

The Le Corbusier Foundation, created in 1968 according to the will of the architect, is installed in the Houses La Roche and Jeanneret, square of the Docteur Blanche in Paris. As Le Corbusier’s universal legatee, it also owns Le Corbusier’s studio apartment on Nungesser et Coli Street in Paris and the Petite Maison on Lake Geneva. Recognized as a public utility, the Foundation aims to preserve and disseminate the work of Le Corbusier. 

Job Description
The Le Corbusier Foundation is looking for a cultural and communication mediation officer for a period of 6 months. Under the authority of the head of the public and the person in charge of the communication, in a dynamics of collective work, he / she participates in the elaboration, the implementation and the development of the actions of mediation and communication.

Main missions :
Design and implementation of mediation actions:
– Support for guided tours for individuals and school groups
– Conduct of educational workshops for leisure centers

Saturday availability required
– Creation of educational activities for young audiences
– Contribution to the reception and accompaniment of visitors: practical information, explanation of the visit

Implementation of communication tools:
– Participation in updating the contact database and the new website (content capture)
– Animation of social networks (Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest)
– Management of precise and targeted communication actions (e-mailing campaigns)
– Monitoring ongoing partnerships and identifying new collaborations
– Awareness and relay work with educational and social actors 

Description of the profile sought
We are looking for profiles with a Master II degree in the field of heritage, museology, art history or business management.
The person should have a good knowledge of the issues of mediation and relations with the public, a taste for project editing and an appetite for architecture and heritage.

Remuneration envisaged
Legal compensation (577,50 euros for a full time)
