A part-time paid internship in the Getty Publications Marketing Department


Major Job Responsibilities

An opportunity to work with the Marketing Department on projects, including social media, copy generation, proofreading, metadata, and research for course adoptions.


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

This position can both utilize skills the intern comes to the Getty with and include training on news skills. Understanding the complexities of metadata is a key component in many aspects of publishing and marketing is no different. The intern will also work with the Marketing Department on projects, including metadata projects but also important research opportunities that help new publishing employees understand the landscape of book publishing. In the past this has included researching book awards, adding keywords to metadata, and researching publications for marketing contacts. This internship will provide skill sets needed not only for future careers in book publishing, but also in marketing positions across the art world.
