Index presents Pauline Curnier Jardin’s first solo exhibition in Sweden, opening in early fall 2021. The exhibition creates a space to encounter film, production and to make process visible. Index is transformed into a hybrid between presentation and production space, where visitors can observe the artist’s film works, and gain an insight into her ongoing working process in the production of a forthcoming work: The exhibition takes as a starting point a work that still doesn’t exist.

Pauline Curnier Jardin (b. 1980, Marseille, France) is a Berlin-Rome based artist working across installation, performance, film, and drawing. She is the winner of the 2019 German Preis der Nationalgalerie, the 2021 Villa Romana Prize in Firenze, and recipient of the 2019-2020 Villa Medici fellowship in Rome.
