Garage Museum of Contemporary Art: Exhibition Manager

Responsibilities:

Coordination of regional and foreign projects, conducting working correspondence on projects in Russian and English
Communication with artists and art institutions
Interaction with curators (creation of architectural plans for exhibition projects, a list of objects, participation in the preparation of accompanying texts, etc.)
Creation of working groups for the project, holding meetings, writing down the results of negotiations, monitoring the implementation of tasks)
Managing the process of creating text and audio materials accompanying the exhibition (press release, texts on display, labels, descriptions, audio guides, etc.)
Participation in the preparation of materials for exhibition PR campaigns (briefing, collection of materials, obtaining approvals from artists, etc.)
Budgeting, timeline projects and monitoring their implementation
Work with contractors (exhibition architecture, development, transportation organization, insurance, installation / dismantling)
Document management (applications, contracts, estimates, payment control) in 1C
Accompanying the exhibition during its work
Project completion reports
Maintaining a contact database

Requirements for a candidate:

Higher education. Knowledge of art history is welcome
Experience in a similar position from 3 years. Experience in organizing international exhibitions
English proficiency at Upper-Intermediate level and above (written and oral)
Ownership of Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat
Work experience in 1C and with document management is desirable
Curiosity, activity, multitasking, the desire to develop and grow professionally

Terms:

Full-time, Full-time (5/2)
Official employment in the Labor Code
Office in Gorky Park
Probationary period – 3 months
