Malba - Fundación Costantini, Museum of Latin American Art of Buenos Aires, was founded in September, 2001 by the Eduardo F. Costantini Foundation, with the goal of collecting, preserving, studying and promoting Latin American art from the early 20th century up to the present. It is a private, non-profit institution that preserves and exhibits a patrimony of approximately 470 works of art by leading modern and contemporary artists from Latin America. It also hosts and produces diverse cultural and education activities. It combines a dynamic calendar of temporary exhibitions with the permanent exhibition of the institution’s collection. Film, literature and design events are also offered at the museum, in combination with important educational work through programs conceived for diverse audiences.
