Fondazione Giorgio Cini: Academic Residency Grants

To attend the “Vittore Branca” International Center for the Study of Italian Civilization between January and December 2022, the Giorgio Cini Foundation is offering 10 academic residency grants of 2 months each to cover the cost of accommodation, intended for doctoral students, PhDs and post-docs who have not exceeded the age of 40 on 10 June 2021.

The grants are addressed, in the multidisciplinary context of the Island of San Giorgio Maggiore, to Italian and foreign scholars interested in the study of Italian – and in particular Venetian – civilization in one of the following fields: art history, history of Venice, literature, musicology, Vivaldi music, ethnomusicology, theater, ancient books, comparative civilization and spirituality.
