The Special Focus space hosts the works by the French, Czechoslovakia-born artist Vladimír Škoda. Škoda’s artistic vocabulary consists of simple geometric shapes: spirals, cubes, polyhedra and especially spheres that reflect the artist’s fascination with cosmology and astronomy. His sketches, echoing his sculpture Pointillés aborigènes on the roundabout in the village of Lens, as well as his collection of Australian Indigenous works, are also presented.
