The Louis Vuitton Foundation in Paris is committed to making art and culture accessible to all. In order to promote current artistic creation at the national and international level, it relies on its collection, commissions from artists, temporary exhibitions of modern and contemporary art and multidisciplinary events.

Today, we are looking for our :
General Exhibition Manager (M/F).
You will be in charge of all the technical issues of the exhibitions and supervise the transversal organisation of the assembly, dismantling and operation of the exhibitions.
Reporting directly to the Director of Cultural Production, you will be in charge of all technical and safety issues relating to exhibitions and supervise the cross-disciplinary organisation of the assembly, dismantling and operation of exhibitions.
In close collaboration with the building’s operating, maintenance and security teams, you will ensure compliance with the operating specifications for the exhibitions (type Y, museum).
You will prepare and monitor the assembly and dismantling of exhibitions in coordination with the head of the works department, assess technical requirements, propose suitable solutions for the installation and maintenance of the works, and coordinate the work of service providers in collaboration with the delegated production teams.
In addition, you will supervise the implementation of technical and scenographic solutions in compliance with ERP regulations and building constraints, monitor the implementation of fire plans and their proper operation in operation (BMS).
You will also supervise the smooth running of the exhibitions in operation by ensuring the management and operational monitoring of outsourced museum management staff (5 people).
Finally, you will coordinate daily technical interventions and maintenance by integrating the building’s operating constraints (visits, privatisations, multidisciplinary events in the galleries, etc.).
You have 10 years of experience in the field of contemporary art exhibitions and/or performing arts and offer a good understanding of the techniques and their implementation, particularly for image and sound.
A real strength of proposal, you have a good understanding of preventive conservation and a knowledge of ERP regulations in terms of security.
