Fondation Giacometti: Internship as Digital Communications Assistant

Description of the company/organization
The Giacometti Foundation, recognised as a public utility since 2003, has the world’s largest collection of works by Alberto Giacometti. Its mission is to ensure the management of the collection and copyright, the authentication of the works, the promotion and influence of the artist’s work.

A cultural institution of reference, its field of action combines the conception and production of exhibitions – internationally as well as in France, research with a dedicated programme and pedagogy with a large annual programme. In 2018, it will open the Institut Giacometti in the heart of the 14th arrondissement of Paris, a place of experimentation and discovery for the general public.

Job Description
The Giacometti Foundation is looking for a digital communication assistant, reporting to the Head of Communication and Marketing and to the Management. This internship is based on three key areas of communication: the Giacometti Foundation’s website, CRM and social networks.

Your main missions :
The implementation of the Giacometti Foundation’s digital strategy:
– Community Management of social networks
– Content creation and social media activation management
– Strategic monitoring of the sector and emerging social networks
– Creation and management of emailing campaigns on Mailchimp
– Updating the contacts file and prospecting
– Maintenance and updating of the Giacometti Foundation website
– Implementation and monitoring of statistical reporting of our digital media

You will also assist the communication department in its day-to-day operations, particularly in setting up partnerships and special events at the Giacometti Institute.

Duration: 4 to 6 months

Description of the desired profile
More than just a user, you love digital media and cultivate an expertise on the subject. You have a recognized spirit of initiative and curiosity and you possess a real creative sensibility. You are organized, rigorous and autonomous. Although Alberto Giacometti may (still) be a mystery to you, you have a solid knowledge of art history.
You have good writing skills with impeccable spelling in both French and English. You are familiar with the Office package, WordPress, Mailchimp, Photoshop and the Adobe suite, and knowledge of HTML is a real plus.

Description of the experience we are looking for
Bachelor +3 / Cycle Master or Grandes Ecoles
You have at least one successful professional experience in the digital field, in communication or in a similar position.
