Alberto Greco (1931-1965) started out as an abstract painter, poet, writer and became a well known informalist artist in Argentina. In 1961 he went to Europe (France, Italy, Spain) working, participating in many exhibitions and organising performances. In New York in 1965 he put on the Rifa Vivo-Dito in [Grand] Central Station, with the participation of Liechtenstein, Oldenburg, Christo and Spoerri, among others. Later that year he went back to Spain and wrote the novel ‘Besos Brujol’ (‘Kiss the witches’) in Ibiza, just before he took his life in Barcelona.
