Exhibition organized by Fundación Barrié in collaboration with Fundación MAPFRE

The Fundación Barrié presents the exhibition MIRÓ. A COLLECTION, with 47 works by Joan Miró (Barcelona, 1893 – Palma de Mallorca, 1983), an inescapable reference in the history of European painting and one of the most influential artists of the 20th century. Painter, sculptor, ceramist and engraver, he was one of the leading exponents of Surrealism and one of the most internationally renowned Spanish artists, whose work came to exert great influence both on his contemporaries and on later generations.

With this exhibition, the Barrié Foundation resumes its line of temporary exhibitions of paintings of historical interest that aims to bring the best of national and international art to Galicia. In this framework, exhibitions of great artists such as Pablo Ruiz Picasso, El Greco or Joaquín Sorolla, among others, have been presented.
