Arter welcomes the new season with a major retrospective of the German artist KP Brehmer (Berlin 1938–Hamburg 1997). Curated by Selen Ansen and featuring an extensive selection from the oeuvre of Brehmer who was associated with the Capitalist Realism movement, the exhibition presents prints, drawings, paintings, displays, films and archival materials that document the sources of inspiration and working tools of the artist with respect to various concepts and themes. Bringing together more than 200 works and archival materials, the exhibition entitled KP Brehmer: The Big Picture is the last part of a  joint production project Arter realised with Neues Museum Nürnberg (Germany), Hamburger Kunsthalle (Germany), Kunstmuseum Den Haag (Netherlands) under the curation of Eva Kraus, Petra Roettig, Daniel Koep and Selen Ansen, within a timespan spreading over three years.
