To create a synergy between Art Foundations around the world, whilst sharing their individual histories, mission’s, art collection’s and public programmes with our global audience.
As Founders of a not-for-profit Art Foundation, the Herman Krikhaar Foundation, we are driven by the same passion that fuels all other Founders of Art Foundations. Our goal is to promote the factors which make each Foundation unique, sharing their individual choices and the specialties they have adopted.
Since 2014 we have conducted over 20 interviews with Founders and Directors of many Foundations around the world, enabling us to share their wealth of experience and personal vision with others. We would particularly like to thank the generosity of these Foundations:
Fondation Maeght, Fondation Guggenheim Bilbao, Pirelli Hangar Bicocca, Museum Voorlinden, Terra Foundation, Graham Foundation, Foundation Bernar Venet, Augusto Rancilio Foundation, Pyke Koch Foundation, Aperature Foundation, Berardo Foundation, Francis Bacon Foundation, Cass Sculpture Foundation, Hartung-Bergman Foundation, Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation, Brands Foundation, Langen Foundation, Rupert Museum, Estorick Collection, Fondation Vincent Van Gogh, Arles.
